Home to the xenophobic Boomers, the airbase is not on complete lockdown, but they are rather selective about who goes in and out of the compound. The base is heavily fortified and guarded, armed with everything under the sun to keep outsiders out and insiders in. They won't fire immediately, but if you fail to impress, you might just loose all of your limbs.
