After creating a character, you will need to post his/her S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats in this board. There is an explanation of how the system works and how to do it inside.

After completing your character's S.P.E.C.I.A.L., you will then use the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system to set up your character's skills. This is also explained in detail, and made fairly simple.

All quests will be posted here. Some may involve a few people, others a few factions, and at times, the entire site. Completion of quests earns you caps, skill bonuses, or perk bonuses. In order to complete a quest, you must meet the skill, level or perk requirement.

The outskirts of Vegas are home to traveller and trader alike. The area tends to be more turbulent; the disarray on the Strip has spread to the surrounding area. Camp McCarran is located here, where brawls between the NCR and those that are against them often take place.

Ah, Freeside. The majority of the residents here come to enjoy the atmosphere of Vegas without.. being anything like Vegas. The main slum of New Vegas, Freeside is home to several families that co-exist 'peacefully' in the same area.

Completely uninteresting, dilapidated, and of no use to anyone, it's hard to say why people still inhabit it. The place is highly independent, and often the inhabitants reject the presence of anything outside of their own walls; North Vegas Square is a sealed-off, close knit community of those that simply couldn't make it in New Vegas itself.

There are several locations around the Mojave where the NCR has set up camp, either permanently or temporarily. Some of these are manned by a handful of soldiers, while some are far more populated. The NCR has lost its grip on the Mojave, however, and so many of these camps are empty or destroyed.

Once the only home to the Brotherhood of Steel, the faction has since expanded, wandering highways nearby and setting up smaller outposts where they can. The Brotherhood of Steel has armed the other bunkers within Hidden Valley, using them as deadly decoys. There is also an element to manned defense, protecting the bunker from infiltration. Few that enter Hidden Valley without being affiliated with the Brotherhood make it out alive.

The highly secretive Enclave, originally based at Area 51, have slowly trickled what little men they have into three bases on the Mojave; the Creech Air Base, the Fallon Naval Air Station, and of course Area 51 itself. The faction exists as little more than a rumor, strengthening themselves before they can create the impact they want to on the face of the Mojave.

Primm was formerly controlled in part by the NCR. However, NCR forces eventually withdrew from the area, after the Powder Gangers were firmly told off by the Courier twenty years ago. Since then, Primm has flourished. Its two casinos and hotel have been somewhat refurbished, or at least they are now being used to their full potential.

A friendly enough town, the main drawing factor to the settlement is the strange, large dinosaur that is the town's main landmark. Its proximity to what used to be the functional Repconn facility was what made it useful, as well as its key location on the road to New Vegas.

Once hostile to those that weren't their kind, Jacobstown is a sort of sanctuary for the Supermutants and Nightkin alike. It is also a trading post, for those that are willing to travel there.

One of the purest water sources on the Mojave, if there was anything beautiful about the vast expanses of wastes, it would be this.

An area of dispute on the Wastes, the Brotherhood of Steel took back control of Helios One during the war for Hoover Dam. It is rumored, however, that the Enclave has set their eyes on the facility.

A hotspot for warfare on the Mojave, the second war for the Hoover Dam drove the NCR and the Legion out of the Dam. Independent Vegas proved strong, however, without the Courier's guidance, the Dam and security of the Mojave is nothing less than a ticking time bomb.

The vaults on the Mojave consist of Vault 11, 19, 22, and 34. There are no intact vault societies on the Mojave, the inhabitants of the vaults either killed off or made to be ghouls. The vaults sometimes are rumored to contain useful items, or are scouted for anything that can be seen as valuable.
